Making

Proudly based in the historic island city of Portsmouth. Only 1.5 hours from London, we swap suits for wetsuits. Fun facts about our city:

  • Packed into just 15.5 square miles, it's the most densely populated city in England after London.
  • King Henry VIII's Southsea Castle sits on a vista of the shoreline.
  • Home to one of Britain's most iconic design exports, the Anglepoise lamp.
  • And while our port imports the most bananas in the UK, we attempt to export the most ideas.

How we work

Our invention process

    Ideate

    We gather thousands of insights to fuel our ideas, mix in serendipitous eureka moments, then dive headfirst into the fun: sketching, tinkering, prototyping and playing, with plenty of glorious fails along the way.

    Making it pitch ready

    Incubate

    We refine, tinker, play-test and iterate until every concept becomes a unique, slam-dunk, no-brainer, “you gotta see this” commercial opportunity, with product, packaging, marketing and content ideas baked in.

    Pitch

    Sizzles that shout, prototypes you can actually play with, and concept bibles that visualise the whole universe of an IP. Presented virtually, face-to-face, and on the floor at trade shows.
